Optimist Club of Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Optimist Club has sponsored youth baseball for 69 consecutive years since 1955, serving boys and girls ages 5-14 primarily from the Southside, TCU, and Wedgwood areas. Now part of PONY Baseball, the program emphasizes teaching kids to try their best, have fun, learn baseball, and be good sports through healthy competition. The program operates from the YMCA Sports Complex and competes in regional and zone tournaments.
